A. LEADERSHIP TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

Leadership Training Opportunity refers to participation in continuing education experiences such as conferences, workshops and seminars. Topics of research/study must be pertinent to the BWOQ Mission Statement: BWOQ exists to enable women in BCOQ churches to reach others for Christ.

B. MISSION OPPORTUNITY

Mission Opportunity refers to participation in specific short-term ministry projects. Examples may include, but are not limited to, volunteer ministry through Canadian Baptist Volunteers, local church or Association initiatives, and exchange programs sponsored by the BWOQ. Approved ministry projects must be “Baptist” in origin or have the support of a local Baptist Church/Association. All applicants will have explored the possibility of local funding before making application for assistance from the Leadership Enrichment Fund.

C. NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY

Networking Opportunity refers to attendance at national and international events or gatherings related to Baptist life. Examples may include, but are not limited to, CBM Triennial Assemblies, NABWU Assemblies, and BWA Women’s Department Leadership Conferences. All applicants will have explored the possibility of local funding before making application for assistance from the Leadership Enrichment Fund.
