Our new Vision, Mission and Ministry Priorities
“You are my witnesses…” says God in Isaiah 43:10.
Today’s trends in declining church attendance and women’s groups in our churches, coupled with an ever-increasing need to minister the gospel effectively in our society, led Baptist Women’s leadership to commit to a time and process of guided discernment, of seeking to hear from God about the reality of where we were at and the path forward that God would have for us.
our vision
may Baptist women be empowered...
…in their knowledge of who they are as God’s Beloved, daughters of the Most High King
…by a community of sisters who are here to support them
…by the collective resources that exists in this community of God’s Beloved
…to be gospel embodiers and proclaimers
…to know and hear God’s voice
…to respond to His voice to bring transformation to the world around them
our mission
we want Baptist women to [re]claim
…lives lived in genuine, personal, loving , transformational, abiding fellowship and relationship with our Creator and each other through Jesus Christ
…the calling God placed upon Baptist Women all those years ago
our 3 ministry priorities

revitalization
Our aim is for women to know about and be excited to be part of CBWOQ; that everything we do is relevant to women today and deals with current issues.
hands-on mission
we aim to see women mobilized for on-the-ground ministry and discipleship through the embodiment and proclamation of the gospel
stewardship
our aim is to provide compelling reasons to support our organization and to cultivate strong partnerships with our supporters.
