small gifts = big impact
Did you know that CBWOQ has a three-pronged grant program?
The Dorothy Neal New Initiatives Fund continues our history of providing start-up funding for initiatives that target our anchor causes of vulnerable women and children, youth at risk and relief and development work.
The Leadership Fund supports leadership enrichment for women.
Our bursaries help women to take part in conferences and events hosted by CBWOQ.
As you read the stories of lives changed through a CBWOQ grant, remember that God has used, and will continue to use, these women and their ministries – big and small – to transform the lives of others.

Erik and Veronica Kress in Costa Rica
“In late fall 2021, Erik and Veronica flew to Costa Rica to begin their ministry to single immigrant mothers and their children.
Twenty-five per cent of Costa Ricans live in extreme poverty. Families are often led by single mothers who have little or no access to education or training. Abuse and violence dominate while children are often exposed to prostitution.
Erik and Veronica will offer a holistic program focused on Bible studies, vocational training and early childhood development.”
We are so excited to support this couple as they minister.
. . . a Peterborough church sponsoring Syrian refugees; Reignite South Africa for a maternity home (and program) for teen girls; Beloved Women for translation and printing of their gospel booklets for muslim women; ReCess for a respite program for disabled children and their families; Farmtown Canada for an after school horse (and counselling) program for teen girls in difficulty identified by CAS, police and schools . . .
These are just some of the ministries you’ve helped through your donations to CBWOQ.
