Making room to pray . . . and fast
Join us this Thanksgiving in a fast from criticism!
The goal of our fast?
That the Lord would do such a deep work in our hearts that the words that come out of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts would be acceptable Him. (Psalm 19:4)
How will we fast?
This in a personal fast.
From October 1 – October 7 (the week before Thanksgiving) decide that you will not criticize (even in your thoughts) anyone about anything.
Follow the prayer prompts we’ll post on this page and keep a journal about your experience.
If you’d like to – let us know how your fast went. Reach out to us on Facebook or send us an email.
When we commit to fast and seek God, He responds in ways that we can only credit to Him (Erza 8).
